Needled 540 g/m2 / 16 oz/yd2 singed polyester felt is used in pulse jet baghouse dust collectors.

The singeing process removes fiber fuzz and creates a more uniform finish, allowing for a better dust cake release than untreated polyester media. This material is strong, abrasion and chemical resistant and good for applications up to 135° C / 275° F.
